"Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel,
not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another
man's foundation." - Rom. 15:20
Bobby and Joe Haden missionaries to Zambia Africa The call:
In 1985, God Began to burden me to do more in missions, so
I began to plan for retirement with an interest in Missions
work.
He put a desire into my heart to go to the field on a permanent
basis to help reach the unreached. In October 1998 at our
Missions Conference, God called me to go to Zambia, Africa.
In these past two years, 8600 decisions for Christ and 25
new church plants in 2006.
Our Field: Zambia is a nation of 11 million people with a life
expectancy of 35 years and a 60-80% AIDS rate. Its a place
of darkness where ancestor worship and witchcraft permeate
the culture from the busch to the capital city. The People
are very friendly and ready to hear the Gospel, and many are
willing to receive Christ. We are serving as church planters
to the unreached people of Zambia and Mozambique with plans
of going into other countries as we train national pastors
and church planters.
Our Church: Our sending Church is Decatur Baptist Church in Decatur,
AL and our Mission Board is Score International P.O. Box 9994
